Aurach Wildlife Park

Since its foundation in 1972, Aurach Wildlife Park had been privately owned by the Pletzer family and inspires with its unique location, with panoramic views to the Kitzbühel Alps, and its animal inhabitants too of course. See red deer, fallow deer, European mouflon, as well as ibex, lynx, yaks, alpacas and many other creatures in Tyrol’s biggest open-air enclosure.

Feeding the animals at the feed area

Feeding the animals at the feed area

Feeding the animals at the feed area - around a 2 min walk from the entrance area - every day at 14.30 is a main attraction.
See all the animals in this open-air enclosure up close, including our red deer, fallow deer, European mouflon, miniature goats and donkeys.
Streichlstadl

Streichlstadl

All the animals in the Streichlstadl can be petted. The large barn is home to llamas, sheep, Shetland ponies, donkeys, goats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Our Streichlstadl is especially popular with our youngest visitors.
Branderhofstube

Branderhofstube

At the entrance to Aurach Wildlife park is the Branderhofstube, a cosy inn, in Tyrol style, with a large sun terrace.
You will find a selection of local treats here and can replenish your energy stores after a tour of Aurach Wildlife Park. When it comes to choosing produce for our meals, we place a great deal of emphasis on fresh, regional produce and purchase these predominantly from local businesses. All herbs and fruit come from our own herb garden and are used in our freshly prepared meals and drinks.
