Which bus lines are included (as of Summer 2025)?

Are buses and trains included?

Certain bus lines are included; trains are not included. Trains are only included with the Kitzbüheler Alpen Guest Card (Hochfilzen to Wörgl and Kirchbichl).
Buses are not included with the SommerCard Season Pass.

What explains the price difference between the SommerCard Season Pass and the Flying Season ticket?

The flying season ticket includes the landing fee and transport for paragliders or hang gliders.

If you buy the SommerCard for multiple days, must they be consecutive?

Yes. The SommerCard can be used on consecutive days (2–14 days) without restriction at all partner mountain lifts. Discounts at bonus partners also apply for the validity period of the SommerCard.

“The SommerCard is valid on consecutive days.” Does that only refer to lift usage? For example, if I buy a 4-day SommerCard, can I use the lifts for two days and use the discounts at outdoor partners on the other two days?

Yes. The SommerCard is valid on consecutive days (2–14 days) at all partner mountain lifts, and the bonus partner discounts also apply for the entire validity period of the SommerCard.

How often can you use the mountain lifts or the outdoor partners’ discounts in a single day?

The SommerCard can be used without restriction at all partner mountain lifts on consecutive days (2–14 days).

Do you get a discount with a disability ID?

No, there is no discount on the Kitzbüheler Alpen SommerCard. Concessions for people with disabilities depend on the tariff regulations of the individual lift companies.

Is there a ticket for a few days that lets me alternate between hiking and biking?

No.

Are dogs allowed on all mountain lifts? If so, is there anything special to consider?

Dogs are allowed on all mountain lifts. Costs and specific regulations (e.g., muzzle) can be found in the SommerCard brochure.

Do I have to pay a separate admission on the mountain (e.g., Hexenwasser, Ellmi’s Magic World, …)?

Generally, no extra admission is required for on-mountain attractions. However, some additional activities may carry a fee (e.g., pony rides at Astbergsee).

Can the Kitzbüheler Alpen SommerCard be used for special evening operations?

For special operations such as evening rides, a separate lift ticket must be purchased. In some cases there is a discount for SommerCard holders. Please check in advance with the respective lift company or organizer.

Are there group discounts for the Kitzbüheler Alpen Trail Card?

There is no group discount, but one free ticket per 20 paid tickets.

Are the OD Trails included in the SommerCard?

No. Since this is a bike tow lift, it is not included. If someone wants to use the tow lift, a separate lift ticket must be purchased.
