Tradition and Innovation. The RIEDEL company can proudly look back on a successful 270 year history. Since its beginnings in northern Bohemia to the present day in its 11th generation, RIEDEL GLASS has embodied high art in glass-making. When Christoph Riedel was born in the Bohemian town of Neuschloß nobody could have guessed that this would also be the birth of one of the greatest glass dynasties in the world. In 1956 the 8th generation of the Riedel family took on the Glashütte in Kufstein and production of mouth-blown glassware began.
