At Bramberg Museum, a world of discoveries opens up – where alpine natural wonders meet living history. The permanent exhibition “Tauern Treasures – The Alpine Human as a Collector,” which opened in June 2025, takes visitors on a fascinating journey to the hidden treasures of the Alps and the people who discovered them. Sparkling emeralds and crystals make eyes light up and turn the National Park exhibition into a true moment of wonder. The “People and Culture” section tells the story of lived traditions, old customs, and everyday life in times past – tangible, close, and surprisingly relevant today.
For children, a museum visit becomes an adventure: the lovingly presented exhibits on beekeeping invite them to join in, marvel, and explore. The experience is rounded off with a walk through the spacious outdoor area. A special highlight is the historic Weyerhof Mill, which serves as an atmospheric setting for the impressive mining exhibition. A place that sparks curiosity – and stays in your memory for a long time.
