Panoramabahn I + II

Panoramabahn 1 + 2 take you into the best connected hiking area, with views to the core area of the Hohe Tauern National Park. A little romantic town in upper Salzachtal is the southernmost access point to this dreamy hiking area in the Kitzbühel Alps.

On the Panoramabahn is the starting point for all your undertakings and it really lives up to its name, since during the journey to the summit you have the whole gamut of the superb Alpine area right before your eyes. In 12 minutes the Panoramabahn takes you up to 1892m altitude.

A lot has happened on the Resterkogel! Right next to the Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen mountain station, with its panoramic window into the National Park, the Summer Adventure Resterkogel has come to life. A tubing track, the Bag Jump "Pinzga Jump," an XXL sandbox, a climbing course, a Bobby Car racetrack, trampolines, and a Kneipp pool are sure to delight families and children alike. The water-themed nature trail at the Resterkogel reservoir shares insights into the importance of water for the local environment. In the shallow water zone, children can splash around and play freely.

The goal of this trail is to raise awareness of the diversity and importance of water. It is a habitat, a vital resource, and a true all-rounder. Visitors can learn more from four informational panels positioned around the lake.
