KitzMountain Guiding

Susi and Harri, two Tyrolean mountain hiking guides, accompany keen hikers who have a valid cable car ticket free of charge through Kitzbühel’s grass-covered mountains. Guides hikes and general hikes are on the agenda in the summer months. Details on the programme can be found at kitzski.at

Streif summer experience

On the Hahnenkamm along the panorama route is an adventure world for children themed around the legendary ‘Streif’ ski run. The concept of this play area is unique, featuring key sections of the original race route. You also have the opportunity to experience that World Cup feeling in a fun way. The little mascot ‘Gerli’ accompanies children along the Streif summer adventure.

Streif Viewing

The first Hahnenkamm race was held in 1931; since then the Streif has become legendary, among racers and spectators alike. You’d be wrong to think that inimitable World Cup feeling only pulsates in the winter. It does so in summer too – when the famous key sections reveal themselves in the tranquil, lush greenery, and there is a hint of adrenaline in the air. Along the hike from the start house to the finish, hikers get an insight into what happens during the race in the winter. On a total of four LCD monitors in the start house, at the Mausefalle and at the entrance to the Steilhang and Hausbergkante – impressive images of past Hahnenkamm races are on display.

Proceeding from the Hahnenkamm is the Flowtrail crossing easier key sections and fun-packed elements down into the valley.
