Tratzberg Castle – Simply fairy-tale-like

Then former lords of the castle, including the Fuggers, ‘personally’ take you on a tour through the originally furnished rooms and armouries by way of audio guides. Discover secret hidden doors, gaze in wonder at the famous Habsburg Hall and find out how history was written here - and still is being written too, since Tratzberg today is the residence of Count Goëss-Enzenberg and family.

The ‘Tratzberg Express’ excursion train takes you and your family comfortably through the romantic forest up to the castle and, after a turbulent journey through time, you can relax and head back to the valley. Here, the Schlosswirt, which has a beer garden and a play area for children provides royal delectation and is the perfect way to bring a fairy-tale adventure to a close.
