Augustinermuseum Rattenberg

The Augustiner Museum (formerly a monastery) is a regional museum, whose exhibits come predominantly from the Tyrolean Lowlands. Focal exhibits are Gothic sculpture, gold and silversmithing, Baroque art and religious folk art pieces. The museum has even received numerous awards. The first Tyrolean museum to be awarded the Austrian Museums prize 1994, Austrian Museum Seal of Approval 2002, Tyrol Museums prize 2005 and 2010.

The museum was opened in 1993 and is located in the rooms of the former Augustinian Hermitage monastery of Rattenberg.
